Centenary of the Death of the Genius Mario Rossani (Cassano delle Murge 1890 – Vallarsa 1918), M.O.V.M

For over 60 years we have been working with hundreds of members to give you a quality wine that lives up to the name of the Murge and Bari area.

We too have a story. But we bow before the history of Italy and in memory of those who offered their lives for the unity, freedom and independence of the country. This is why we have selected – as part of the cultural partnership with a prestigious local foundation – a wine dedicated to Mario Rossani, courageous officer and generous spirit, Gold Medal for Military Valor, son of our Bari land.

Each bottle of “Rossani” is accompanied by a collar that reproduces an artistic representation, created by the designer Tommaso Milella, of one of the hero’s deeds on which the philatelic cancellation created for the historic occasion by Poste Italiane is affixed.

Suitable with pasta dishes with meat sauce, grilled meats, game and mature cheeses.

Service tips
It should be served at a temperature of 18 ° / 20 ° C.

Production Area

The production area is the Murgia Hills in the Apulia region of southern Italy. A chalky-clay terrain of 350- 500 metres a.s.l., which produces fine, versatile wines.

Grapevine

Obtained in purity from the native “Primitivo” grape variety from the last Apulian sapling vineyards owned by our members.

winemaking

Careful selection of grapes in the countryside and manual collection in boxes. Maceration of the skins and must for 3 weeks at controlled temperature. Maturation of the wine for 12 months in steel and aging for 12 months in barriques and further period in the bottle.
